College can feel like a lot—figuring out who you are, juggling classes, friendships, family expectations, and the pressure to “have it all together.” If you’ve been feeling anxious, disconnected, self-critical, or just plain overwhelmed, you’re not alone. If you need is space to breathe, slow down, and reconnect with who you really are, I would love to support you. My style is warm, conversational, and collaborative—I don’t lecture or “fix” you. Instead, I sit with you, help you untangle old patterns, and explore new ways of moving through life that actually feel like you. Reach out and let's begin!

Hello! My name is Madeline & I specialize in ADHD, grief work, & women's issues around anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, & work-life balance. In my work with young and adult women (16+), I've found that through modeling genuine self-acceptance and self-compassion (instead of just talking about how important it is), my clients are more receptive to extending the same grace & kindness they give to others to themselves. Because I strongly emphasize authenticity in the work that I do, I show up to each session exactly as I am. Human. While I share therapeutically relevant experiences, anecdotes and thoughts often, they are always done with intention and care. I believe that it is incredibly difficult to form a meaningful connection with another person if the relationship is entirely one-sided. I've found that my approach to therapy differs in that I like to use a lot humor in sessions - both dark and light - which definitely isn't everyone's cup of tea, and that's okay! I am also unapologetically myself, and some days that looks a bit different than others. I'd be wasting my time and yours if I pretended to be someone I'm not or that some days weren't messy, chaotic garbage for me, too. Pretending is not conducive to connection, and I believe my approach to therapy is a testament to that fact. The therapeutic relationship is the bedrock of any therapy success story. I strive to connect to each of my clients on a deep and meaningful level by remaining authentic, genuine, and honest. I provide sincere feedback, offer many skills that can be used outside of sessions, and equip clients with the tools they need to be successful and resilient when life feels like it's just too much. While some issues may be very solution-focused and direct, others may take time. The space I offer is not only safe and nonjudgmental, it is also patient. I will sit with you in the hurt, the pain, the loss, the ache, the hopelessness, and the chaos. I will sit with you knowing that there is an end in sight, and will hold your hand as we find our way out of that darkness together.
I work frequently with young adults as they manage increasing independence, college and work. I understand the challenges involved with balancing academic requirements, personal stressors and self care. Additionally, I am experienced in helping clients who are wanting to change their relationship patterns and behaviors, and those struggling to find effective ways to deal with symptoms related to depression, anxiety, and codependency. As a clinical psychologist, I assist my clients in meeting their goals and improving their relationships. Therapy is used to improve communication, coping skills and problem solving. One of my areas of expertise is in helping clients who are working through a particularly challenging time in their lives, and having difficulty moving forward from their experience. By encouraging self expression, increased insight and problem solving in therapy, I work collaboratively with clients to facilitate positive changes. Improving self esteem through greater understanding and acceptance of oneself is part of that work.
Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward? Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship struggles, identity questions, or anger that feels hard to control—I’m here to help. My style is warm, honest, and down-to-earth. Together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you and build practical tools to create lasting change, one step at a time.
Hi there! I'm passionate about helping students who want to work through Complex PSTD or complex trauma, functional depression & anxiety, and self esteem concerns. My goal is to help you get unstuck from a cycle of over functioning, people pleasing, disconnection and overwhelm, to a place of grounding, clarity and connection. I don’t see therapy as a one size fits all approach; I enjoy fostering a space that’s gender affirming and body positive, as well as sex positive and kink friendly/affirming. I also strive to provide a warm, supportive and judgment-free space that is culture affirming and trauma informed, with an understanding that you are the expert on your life. In my opinion, one of the most important factors in getting to a place of grounding and healing, is having a strong connection and fit with your therapist. In our work together, you’ll find that my style is warm, compassionate, and empathetic. From a person-centered approach, I like to pull in from different therapies and tools as needed depending on what is going on for you. I’m not afraid to talk about anything you need to! I approach things from a place of curiosity and non-judgment.
Sometimes life presents challenges. But you don’t have to face these challenges alone. I provide a nonjudgmental safe space to work through whatever is holding you back from living your best life. Stress? Let’s talk about it. Anxiety? Let’s come up with some tools. Sports related pressure? Let’s tackle it. Family? I get it! Whatever it is that you’re struggling with we can work through it together.
You’re seeking help because you’re smart, motivated, yet you feel insecure or ambivalent in your relationships. You feel guilty or ashamed, stuck in the same thought spiral day-in and day-out. You’re tired of feeling judged, most of all by yourself. There’s a little voice in your head that criticizes and questions every decision you make. You’re finding adulting to be much harder and more unpredictable than you anticipated. You’ve worked hard to get where you are, but still feel like you fall short. I work young adults struggling with anxiety and panic, grief, trauma, and self-esteem. I will help you find immediate relief from what feels overwhelming, while also exploring deeper concerns. We’ll work to discover answers and collaborate in a deep way to make sense of your experiences, create meaning, and grow.
Hello! My name is Kathleen Delgadillo-Lara. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I have eight years of experience working in the mental health field, treating adults, adolescents, and geriatric patients. I have worked in outpatient community settings as well as inpatient settings treating stress, anxiety, and depression. Life can be very challenging and balancing everything can be overwhelming. I can provide support and skills to help you overcome life's obstacles and make positive changes. I use a client-centered approach, focusing on aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness. I start with an introductory session where you will be able to provide me with some background to your story, what brings you into counseling and what goals you would like to work on. I strive to create a warm environment as I know it can be difficult to share some our deepest struggles. We will work together at your pace to tackle your goals.
Hi there—I’m Odira, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience guiding students and young adults through life’s twists and turns. I understand how hard it can be to fit therapy into a busy schedule, so I offer sessions only in the evenings and on weekends, whether we meet in person in Abilene, TX, or connect virtually across Texas and Colorado. Many students wrestle with anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and relationship ups and downs. That’s why I blend person-centered, holistic, and eclectic approaches to create a space that’s uniquely yours. You know your story best—I’m here to listen, offer fresh perspectives, and partner with you to build practical tools for navigating transitions, strengthening connections, and fostering growth. Over the years, I’ve led behavioral health teams and delivered therapy in community and clinical settings—experience that’s deepened my understanding of the pressures you face on campus and beyond. My passion is creating a warm, collaborative environment where you can explore your strengths, cultivate resilience, and gain clarity. Ready to get started during those after-work or weekend hours? I work with people who are self-introspective and who want to learn more about who they and who they are becoming. I focus on grief and loss, life transition, anxiety, depression, and past or current trauma.
Hello! I'm a First-gen, Spanish-speaking, and culturally responsive counselor. I specialize in working with individuals who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety (constant worry/fear), shame, trauma, or self-doubt. I want to be able to provide a safe space to dive deeper into some of your concerns. I want to work together to set goals and find solutions to the problems you may be facing. You don't have to carry this alone. Together, we will work intentionally to help you navigate important moments in your life. - Maribel
Like most of my clients I have my own share of childhood trauma. I’ve had to deconstruct childhood messages of not being good enough. I’ve had to learn to set boundaries and learn that I’m not required to put others' needs above my own. I think learning that I'm loved and worthy, even when other's are angry with me has been the most difficult lesson of all. The very path that many of you are starting out on, I have walked myself. This journey isn't about reliving your worst memories, it's about taking away their power. I’ve worked hard to reclaim my own story, now I want to help you reclaim yours. I specialize in helping those with anxiety and trauma, both in individual and couples counseling. Using the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Parts work, and EMDR approaches I help client's find ways to ease the sharp edges of relationships and life. I help find ways to navigate difficulties in life and move with ease and grace. I'm not a passive therapist and I actively work to help build skills you can use every day. I like to use humor, playful sarcasm, and just enough of “tell it like it is” to help you reach your personal summits. I will challenge you to stretch but not break your comfort zones. I will also sometimes be the kick in the pants you need.
My ideal clients are individuals navigating the weight of depression, anxiety, trauma (including spiritual), or chronic health struggles. I’m deeply passionate about walking alongside you on your journey to healing and self-discovery. Together, we’ll build healthy boundaries, ignite your inner strength, and create meaningful, lasting change. My mission is to provide a safe, empowering space where you feel truly seen and supported as the expert of your own life. Life’s journey is full of twists, turns, and unexpected challenges, and it’s okay to feel stuck or unsure along the way. I’d be honored to walk beside you, offering compassion, understanding, and tools to help you navigate it. Together, we can uncover your strengths, embrace growth, and create a path forward that feels true to you.
Hi, I’m Marie, and I’m so glad you found me. I’m here for the ones who’ve always felt a little different, a little out of place, the "oddballs" who don’t see themselves reflected in the world around them. Life isn’t always sunshine and rainbows, and I’m not going to pretend it is. But just because it’s hard doesn’t mean you’re powerless. My goal is to help you find your power- not by ignoring the darkness, but by showing you that you can still grow despite it. I want to help you believe in the possibility of happiness again, even if you’re not sure what that looks like right now. I’ve dedicated many years to learning how to support mental health, but the heart of my work is making you feel safe, seen and validated. I specialize in trauma and life transitions like finishing high school and starting college, changing careers, moving (to or around Texas), getting divorced, exploring gender identity, or navigating a breakup. If you’re feeling stuck, broken, or like you’ll never feel normal again, I’m here to tell you that you don’t have to be "normal" to feel whole. Together, we’ll navigate the mess and the pain, in a space where you don’t have to filter yourself or shrink to fit someone else’s idea of “okay.” If that sounds like what you're looking for, please reach out.
I specialize in providing trauma-informed therapy that is tailored to meet the cultural framework of diverse clients, including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, women of color, children of immigrants, and survivors of interpersonal trauma (i.e. child abuse, sexual assault, intimate partner violence). As a therapist, I am dedicated to building a therapeutic environment that encourages authenticity, transparency, and compassion. I take a client-oriented approach that centers around my belief that people can take charge of their journey to healing and recovery. I trust that the client is the expert of their own lives, and my role is to consistently empower them to develop toolkits to be able to navigate daily struggles and lived experiences.
