I know that making the decision to seek help can bring up difficult feelings, which is why as a therapist I seek to create an honest, authentic, and supportive relationship with my clients. By creating a sense of safety with one another we can work together to address your most immediate concerns, while simultaneously using our time as an opportunity to develop a deeper relationship with yourself and your experiences. I practice from an Existential-Integrative perspective, incorporating elements from psychodynamic, interpersonal and experiential techniques in my work with clients. This approach extends beyond your symptoms and into an exploration of what it means for you to live a fulfilling life, as well as what may be holding you back. Wellness is experienced differently by everyone and together we can explore what it means for you to live well and begin the process of working towards that together. I have experience working with those struggling with experiences of depression, anxiety, and interpersonal concerns.
We specialize in the treatment of Trauma/PTSD, alcohol/drug problems and co-occuring disorders. We also use evidence-based treatment to address anxiety, fears and phobias and other mental health problems.

In other words, I have many ways for helping individuals to deal with their struggles or with whatever is challenging them. My approach focuses on thought processes, behaviors, and action plans. I also find ways to creatively use your interests (such as: music, hobbies, movies, and etc.) in the solution process. Most importantly, during every counseling session I strive for my clients to take away something new or something that can utilize outside of counseling in everyday life.
I provide services to people with a broad spectrum of problems. My areas of specialty are trauma, depression, anxiety, and personality disorders, or long-term ways of relating to self and others that do not seem to be working well.

College and early adulthood can feel like a lot. You’re building your future, navigating relationships, managing expectations — and trying to keep it all together. Stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, breakups, and big life transitions are common, but that doesn’t mean you have to handle them alone. Therapy with me is real, supportive, and judgment-free. I focus on creating a space where you can be yourself, talk honestly about what’s weighing on you, and learn practical tools to feel more grounded and confident. I previously worked with college students and young adults at the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic in an Intensive Outpatient Program, supporting clients through anxiety, depression, and major life stressors. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just not like yourself, let’s talk. Reaching out can be the first step toward feeling better.
Holiday Blues? Struggles with navigating challenges like depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral concerns, stress, and self-esteem? I offer a supportive space where you can explore what’s weighing on you and begin to move toward healing and balance. My approach is person-centered and tailored to your needs. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just need someone to talk to, I’m here to help. I draw from a range of therapeutic methods including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, strengths-based strategies, psychoeducation, mindfulness, and EMDR. In our first few sessions, we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy—your story. I focus on building trust and rapport from the start because I know opening up can feel intimidating. Together, we’ll identify goals and create a treatment plan that feels right for you. Clients often tell me they appreciate the calm, welcoming environment I create. We’ll work at your pace, and you’ll never be pushed to go faster than you’re ready for. I’m passionate about this work because I get to witness real transformation—watching clients grow, heal, and reconnect with themselves is incredibly rewarding.
I'm a person-centered therapist with 15+ years of experience using existential, CBT, Gestalt, and counseling techniques to help you understand your mental health and handle life's stressors-with honesty, empathy, and just the right amount of humor.

All of our therapists primarily use evidence-based cognitive-behavioral approaches with their patients. Exposure and response prevention therapy, ERP, is the gold standard treatment for OCD and other anxiety disorders and our therapists are experts in this approach as well. I'm Carly Stanton, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) offering virtual therapy for adults in Florida and Pennsylvania who've spent too long trying to fit into spaces that were never built for them. I work with outsiders, misfits, and people rebuilding — LGBTQ+ folks navigating identity and belonging, Jewish adults sorting through what their heritage actually means to them, highly sensitive people who are done apologizing for how they're wired, and anyone who's spent years being everything for everyone else and lost themselves in the process. My approach is relational, insight-oriented, and grounded in ACT and attachment-based work. I'm not here to hand you coping tips. I'm here to help you figure out who you actually are underneath all the performing. Virtual only. Free 15-minute consultation.
