Welcome! My name is "Dr. Ed." I'm a Ph.D.-Diplomate in Clinical Social Work from the University of Houston and Governors State. In our multicultural world, therapy is a safe place to respect your values and honor your strengths! √ I'm 4.6 rated with 60+ reviews on HealthGrades, United Health, Aetna and Cigna. My treatment philosophy is built on respect and appreciation of the dignity for each person I work with. Let me emphasize this one more time, YOU don't have to settle for a poor self-image from negative experiences nor settle with poor relationships with your family, spouse, kids and yourself. Let's figure it out..together.. My therapy specialty is working with adults, couples, families, and pre-teens who are dealing with feelings of rejection, grief, and situation anxiousness-including balancing family and work-life stressors. I greatly appreciate listening to the adult male voice in relationships and families. Learning ways to bridge the gap in communication styles between men and women, parents and children, is important work! Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a core faculty member for nine years at Capella University-graduate and doctoral programs in Social Work and Public Service Leadership. Outside of work, Dr. Ed enjoys traveling to Barbados, Cancun, Houston Rodeo, is active in the KAY fraternity, and is an Astros and Cubs fan. The clients I see are sometimes in college experiencing feelings of overwhelm or feeling low. These clients describe their challenges as feeling, “como con miedo,” and also, “no se que tengo.” Other clients I see are future counselors who are at the beginning of their careers and facing imposter syndrome ( “I must’ve slipped through the cracks to get to where I am now”), self-criticism (“Why can’t I get my life together!"), or burnout (feeling fatigued and like you can never catch up). These clients are usually part of activist movements or workplaces and I believe in helping the healers that are out in the world making a positive impact on society. I benefited greatly from my own experiences with counseling when I was in grad school (still do) and I hope to provide the same non-judgmental opportunities to cry or laugh or both to future clients. In my work I value humility, curiosity, self-compassion and humor. I believe these are needed to provide authenticity and support at a time when people starting out in their fields of work are taking in new information that is stretching/challenging perspectives and care for the self is a necessity to continue doing challenging work.
Acceptance can be a powerful experience that shapes who we are. Reflect on a moment when you felt truly accepted and how it impacted your journey. I’m passionate about helping clients of all identities live authentically and build a strong, empowered sense of self. My practice is inclusive of people from all walks of life. I provide LGBTQIA+ affirming care. You don’t need to educate me about your identity—I meet you where you are and work to honor your lived experience. I provide space that embraces all of who you are—my goal is to provide therapy that feels grounded, relational, and deeply affirming. Therapy with me is collaborative and nonjudgmental. I offer treatment for Anxiety, Depression, Stress, Grief, Life Challenges, Adjustment, Sleep, and many other major challenges people experience.
We are a group practice servicing Texas, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Florida and Virginia providing individual therapy, online group therapy and online supports. We specialize in Anxiety, Depression, Life transitions, stress management and work with adults of all ages who are seeking to find a therapist that will guide them throughout the therapy process. Therapy can be a scary process, but it's also important to ensure that you're able to set some goals, meet them and feel a sense of support along the way.
You’ve always been the one who holds it together. The friend everyone leans on, the one who keeps the peace, even when you're falling apart inside. You’re kind, thoughtful, and always thinking about how others feel—sometimes to the point of losing sight of what you need. Maybe you grew up in a home where speaking up was risky, or you were labeled as “too much.” Now, in college or early adulthood, you feel lost - constantly second-guessing yourself, unsure who you are outside of relationships or achievements. You want to feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your life—but you’re not sure where to start.
Do you find yourself beaten down with negative self talk? Do you struggle to shake the nagging feeling of discomfort, even when things seem to be going okay? While it can seem easier to avoid or suppress the struggles around us, my clients often find value in moving through these struggles, walking towards abundant life instead of simply "existing." My goal is that you may become more empowered to face life’s challenges through your counseling experience. Though I work with people from all backgrounds, I am passionate about working with others as they find abundant life and believe that this is best done in relationship with one another. I specialize in anxiety, depression and life transitions and hope to walk with you through this by offering a safe space to process your past and present self as you move towards a more full future. My clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults, focusing on anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, broken familial relationships, boundary work, and other mental health concerns. I am also certified in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). In my free time, I enjoy being outside with my family and friends. I love drinking coffee, going for walks with my dog Rosie, and dreaming about the next travel adventure with my husband.

Are you a queer, BIPOC, or neurodivergent person struggling with relentless self-criticism? It might feel like you can’t stop beating yourself up and feeling like you’re not good enough, no matter how hard you try. This self-doubt can be reinforced by others treating you differently and the systemic oppression which is present in so many aspects of our world today. If you’re ready to escape from a shame spiral, you’ve come to the right place. Welcome! My name is Sajl, and I’m a nonbinary and South Asian therapist based in Frisco, TX. I work with motivated and insightful teens and adults via telehealth to liberate themselves from self-hatred. My goal is to provide you with an affirming, compassionate, and honest therapeutic space in which you are free to explore and understand where these beliefs stem from. Together, we’ll get to the root cause of your pain and help you develop a kinder and gentler inner voice. As a young queer person of color, I know what it’s like to be unsure of whether aspects of my identity will be accepted in new spaces. Rest assured, every aspect of what makes you who you are is invited when we share space together. My therapeutic approach is culturally sensitive, identity-affirming, and liberation-centered. I incorporate aspects of acceptance and commitment therapy, relational cultural therapy, and attachment theory to help you understand and face your pain with courage and compassion. If you’re ready to release the burden of the pain you’ve been carrying, I would be honored to lighten your load and walk alongside you in the path towards healing.

Do you feel insecure in relationships, like your emotions are controlling you instead of you controlling them? Are feelings of anxiety, anger or rejection keeping you from healthy connection? Welcome to your healing journey! Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who currently serves adults throughout the state of Texas. I have a profound passion for mental health and strive to create a safe, therapeutic space where your unique story is valued. Whether you are seeking support for concerns related to work stress, relationships in your life, life transitions, need support managing your emotions, or need assistance processing a troubling event, I am here for you. During sessions I use a variety of trauma informed approaches to therapy, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR aims to help make tough memories less distressing, while promoting healing from difficult experiences. Through personalized strategies, I am dedicated to empowering my clients to explore patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that can lead to a more fulfilled life. I am also a therapist who utilizes holistic approaches, so I incorporate mindfulness, meditation, and somatic practices into our sessions. Some sessions will be tougher than others, but you are the expert of your own healing. In our first session, you take the lead in defining the path forward. We will explore the pressing issue that brought you to seek support and will create a treatment plan that is uniquely tailored to the goals and changes that you are looking for. I do require a 15-minute consultation call before the first session is scheduled.
College-age young adults experience their own unique challenges. In a time of new independence and exploration, there can be a lot of pressure and expectations on young adults to have their lives “figured out”. You may experience difficulties adjusting to a new environment and the challenges that come with that, such as moving away from home, managing your college course load, making friends, etc. Young adulthood also brings about new responsibilities related to school, work/career, and finances, like maintaining your own schedule and paying bills. Many of the college students I work with are dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, relationship issues, stress management, among other challenges. I provide young adult clients with the space to process and unpack their challenges, establish a trustworthy therapeutic relationship, and support them in building up their ability to cope with stress, understand their emotions, and meet their needs.

Hi, I’m Regina (she/her), a queer, neurodivergent therapist who believes healing happens in spaces where you’re truly seen and affirmed. I bring compassion, curiosity, and a healthy dose of irreverence into the therapy room, and I deeply value the trust it takes to show up authentically—especially when the world hasn’t always made space for who you are. I primarily work with women and nonbinary adults—especially those who are late-diagnosed neurodivergent, part of the LGBTQ+ community, or navigating non-traditional relationships (like ENM or kink). If you're untangling trauma, questioning your place in a society that often feels hostile or broken, or working to rebuild self-worth in a neurotypical, cis-hetero world—you’re in the right place. My approach is eclectic and collaborative. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet your unique needs, rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all mold. This work isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about reconnecting with your values, making meaning, and feeling more at home in your own mind and body. If you’re looking for a therapist who affirms your identity, respects your complexity, and understands what it means to feel like an outsider—I’d be honored to walk with you. Schedule a free consultation so we can chat about whether I’d be a good fit.
