Life can bring about challenges, transitions, and unexpected events. I believe each client is the expert in their own life. My ultimate goal is to empower you to make positive life changes while helping you develop confidence in your ability to achieve a healthy balance in all aspects of your life. Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker who practiced in a college counseling setting for over 4 years and I have 15 years of counseling experience total. I continue to work with college students in my private practice and I enjoy working with people to better manage anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, OCD, grief, life transitions, relationship, concerns, and general stress. My practice is body positive and LGBTQ+, immigrant, and international student supportive and affirming. I aim to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for processing fears, thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. I use various types of therapy, including ACT, CBT, DBT skills, somatic therapy, schema therapy, ERPT, narrative therapy, and person centered therapy, but I tailor sessions to what works best for you. I also welcome your feedback in the process. I strongly encourage coming to therapy in the way that you are most comfortable - meaning, swear if you feel the need, don't apologize for eating in sessions if you are hungry, show up in your pajamas - whatever. As long as you are safe and comfortable and you are able to talk privately, I support it. I offer a free 15 minute consultation call to see if we are a good fit, because having a therapist you trust and match with is paramount. I offer virtual telehealth sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I offer in person sessions in Kingwood, Texas on Wednesdays. Please feel free to reach out to me if you'd like to connect and I wish you the best in your therapist search!
In-network telehealth psychiatry for Kansas and Texas. Many of the students I work with are navigating big life changes, academic pressure, and the challenges of balancing school with everything else in life. You might be feeling stressed, anxious, unfocused, down, or just “off” and not like yourself. Some students come to me because they’re struggling to manage ADHD symptoms, experiencing depression or anxiety, or coping with grief and loss. Others simply know they’re not feeling their best and want support before things get worse. If you’re looking for someone who listens without judgment, helps you make sense of what you’re going through, and works with you to create a plan that fits your life, we may be a great match. Together, we can find strategies—whether through medication, lifestyle changes, or both—to help you feel more focused, balanced, and confident in yourself.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, awkward, or scary, and those feelings are completely valid. I strive to provide a warm, supportive, and comfortable space where you can show up as you are. If you’re ready to take the next step, I would be happy to help you I offer a holistic, creative, individualized approach to therapy that meets each client where they are. I draw from different areas in talk therapy, behavioral techniques, creative and expressive arts, and activities connected to personal interests or hobbies. I take time to understand each client’s environment, experiences, and strengths.

College can feel overwhelming. Classes pile up, friendships shift, family expectations get louder, and suddenly you’re supposed to make big decisions about your future while still figuring out who you are. It’s a lot, and many students tell me they feel stressed, anxious, or unsure of what they’re doing — even if they look “fine” on the outside. If you’ve been feeling this way too, you’re not alone. I’m a therapist who works with college students dealing with stress, social anxiety, career worries, and the ups and downs of adjusting to college life. In our sessions, you get a calm, supportive space to talk about what’s going on, sort through the noise, and learn ways to feel more grounded and confident day to day. We’ll look at what’s getting in your way, what you want for yourself, and what small steps can help you feel better — without pressure, judgment, or complicated language. You set the pace, and we focus on what matters most to you. Therapy can be a place to slow down, breathe, and figure out what you need to feel more like yourself again.
We are a group practice offering individual, couples and family therapy. It takes courage to begin this process, and I’m honored to walk with you as you navigate whatever brought you here, at your own pace and in your own way. I specialize in working with clients experiencing stress, anxiety, grief, or life transitions, and are looking for a space where they don’t have to explain or translate who they are. When the time feels right for you, I’ll be here and ready to support you. As a counselor, I’m deeply committed to creating a supportive and inclusive space where individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered. College brings a lot of change — newfound independence, heavy course loads, and big life decisions that come with new relationships. My desire is to provide a warm, down-to-earth space where college students can talk through the challenges of becoming more independent, manage academic stress, and figure out next steps after committing to a partner. Together we’ll build practical skills, set realistic goals, and find choices that feel true to you. If you need support navigating this stage, I’m here to help.
Anxiety, trauma, and childhood wounds don’t just disappear. They sneak into daily life and make things feel heavier, even when nothing seems wrong. I work with teens and adults, often helping people whose feelings weren’t fully seen or supported growing up. Anxiety and trauma can show up as overthinking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or that constant “something’s off” feeling. I take a warm, trauma-informed approach, moving at your pace so you can feel grounded, seen, and in charge of your life. I help teens and adults navigate anxiety, trauma, and childhood wounds using EMDR, Parts Work, somatic techniques, and CBT. Together we build coping skills, process difficult memories, and work toward healing. Therapy can be intense, but we also laugh, roll our eyes at anxiety, and celebrate small wins along the way. I help you care for the inner child you once needed, challenge the beliefs feeding anxiety, and rebuild self-worth. It’s okay if it’s messy, we will work through it together. Step by step, we’ll create space for calm, clarity, and connection. Reach out for a free consultation and let’s get started.
Araceli is trained in both Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) and Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET), evidence-based approaches that help people better understand and work with chronic conditions such as chronic (unexplained) pain, anxiety, migraines, dizziness/vertigo, IBS, tinnitus, fatigue, brain fog and other stress-related symptoms. These therapies help patients relate to symptoms in a new way—by reducing fear, strengthening the mind-body connection, processing difficult emotions, and helping the brain “unlearn” the patterns that keep symptoms stuck. Araceli’s work focuses on supporting individuals living with chronic conditions to feel safer in their bodies, more emotionally connected, and more empowered in their healing.
