Asking for help or support can be scary. Making that step to get therapy takes a great deal of strength. Therapy gives people the opportunity to develop effective and healthy responses to life's stressors. I work to create a safe holding environment to allow you to feel comfortable being yourself. I work with clients to help them develop awareness over their behaviors, thoughts, patterns, and feelings. I like to get to the source rather than just focus on the symptoms. I work with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship stress, parenting, ADHD, identity exploration, assertive communication, self-esteem, and grief. We will work at your pace. It's about progress, not perfection. I work with you to help you empower yourself. I offer free 15 minute consultations. If you would like a free consultation, you may email or call me. You are in charge of who you want to work with. Reach each out if you would like to explore working together.

Welcome to Gray Cat Counseling! I try to keep an informal, comfortable atmosphere, because we're working together to learn and solve problems. Whether you're looking to find a balance between school and friends, or dealing with the stress of family or trauma, I'm here to help support you. It's my role to learn from you, and to help you find relief. I'm open to any questions and experiences- I've seen it, done it, or heard about it all. No judgements, no mandates. Just support, suggestions, and a listening ear who is on your side.

You don’t have to navigate this alone. Whether you're feeling stuck, anxious, grieving, questioning your identity, or overwhelmed by life transitions, therapy can be a space to slow down and reconnect with yourself. I work with college students, professionals, and adults—especially those in the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities—who are seeking deeper insight, relief, and a renewed sense of meaning. My style is warm, collaborative, and direct. I bring a trauma-informed, relational approach to our work, integrating elements of psychodynamic therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I’ll help you explore how past experiences may still be showing up in the present and support you in making empowered, values-based choices for your future. Clients often come to me for support with anxiety, trauma, identity concerns, grief, depression, relationship issues, and career struggles. I offer virtual therapy to clients located in Pennsylvania and any PsyPact participating state. If you're ready to begin—or even just curious about what therapy might look like—I invite you to reach out. Let's see if we're a good fit.

How are you doing with the dystopia? I'm Cori, and with me, therapy starts by acknowledging that we are living in the dark ages. But my clients are heroic. They're intrepid. They're wise. They are struggling to make meaning and survive in a harsh and terrifying era. Most of us feel pretty powerless. I try to offer a brand of queer Buddhist wizardry that helps people break generational curses, find the power they DO have, and create community that sustains them. I offer many evidence based approaches to therapy, especially those that help us change our relationship with ourselves, and changing our relationship with life and reality. Existential therapy, acceptance & commitment therapy, and narrative approaches are my bread-and-butter. I also work from a great deal of other experiences; as an activist, queer organizer, drag artist, social work professor, and a student of many wisdom traditions. I lived abroad in both Europe and Asia and know how alienating, frightening, and difficult it can be to adjust to a radically different culture. I studied tàijíquán and Daoist thought on Wǔdāng mountain in central China from 2010 to 2011, and have studied and practiced Buddhism since 2011 with various Tibetan, Bhutanese, and western Lamas.

My clients experience sadness and anxiety and adjustment to leaving home and college. Transitions are difficult and they need coaching and mentoring as well as counseling. Meeting new people roommates and classes are major stressors. Students get overwhelmed. Students who I see also worry about managing the social aspects as well.

You're tired of putting yourself out there and not finding your "person". You've tried multiple therapists but just can't seem to connect. And without that connection, opening up and really digging in is hard. So you remain stagnant. You want to feel safe and supported, but also want someone to finally be blunt with you about what may be holding you back--and what may actually HELP. You're tired of merely surviving--you want to FINALLY feel like you are living authentically and truly thriving. You want someone to challenge you to step outside of your comfort zone, but also make this shit a little less scary. I use humor and laughter, openness and authenticity, and most importantly, foul language, to create a safe, explorative environment where we can really dig into what has been holding you back--together. I can be direct and to the point, and sometimes a bit crass and unconventional. But I will also be your strongest advocate and biggest cheerleader. What I love most about what I do is being able to walk alongside someone who is finding their own way, and being able to witness just how resilient our spirits can be. Asking for a little help isn't a sign of failure--it's a sign of courage. And a sign of a badass who refuses to get in their own way. Reach out to see if we may be a good fit! Let's do this! Open Space CCW is a LGBTQIA+ and relationship minority affirming group practice whose mission is to help people move from merely surviving their lives, to truly thriving.

I take joy in aiding others to make positive behavioral changes, using evidence-supported approaches that are customized to each individual's unique needs. My aim is to foster an environment of trust, care, and respect. Together, we will set therapeutic goals, devise a plan to achieve them, and help you develop tools to manage symptoms, overcome trauma, and enhance your overall well-being. I provide individual therapy with a primary focus on cognitive-behavioral orientation. My expertise lies in helping individuals navigate through anxiety and PTSD/trauma using evidence-supported therapies; however I can accommodate a wide range of needs. I know that making the decision to seek help can bring up difficult feelings, which is why as a therapist I seek to create an honest, authentic, and supportive relationship with my clients. By creating a sense of safety with one another we can work together to address your most immediate concerns, while simultaneously using our time as an opportunity to develop a deeper relationship with yourself and your experiences. I practice from an Existential-Integrative perspective, incorporating elements from psychodynamic, interpersonal and experiential techniques in my work with clients. This approach extends beyond your symptoms and into an exploration of what it means for you to live a fulfilling life, as well as what may be holding you back. Wellness is experienced differently by everyone and together we can explore what it means for you to live well and begin the process of working towards that together. I have experience working with those struggling with experiences of depression, anxiety, and interpersonal concerns.

In a world that is filled with judgement and stigma, a safe place where you can be yourself without apologizing is hugely important. I am a LGBTQIA+ and relationship minority affirming therapist. We all deserve to be seen and heard for who we are and not what others want us to be. We all deserve a place where we can let our guards down and just simply be--not just parts of us, but our whole selves. It is of utmost importance to me that I provide a safe, supportive, respectful space. I believe you, the client, are the expert of your own experience and I genuinely look forward to learning about your worldview. My two and a half years of traveling through the Middle East and Southeast Asia expanded my view on life. It further taught me that much of our knowledge is socially constructed and not universal truth, and there are multiple ways to view things. I enjoy exploring different lenses in which we can view the world so clients can find what best serves them. I'm trained in mindfulness and enjoy sharing techniques to live in embodied presence and more fully in our lives--instead of allowing the mind to ride on autopilot. If you're ready to move from living out of habit to living with more intention and purpose, I'd love to join you on your journey. That first call can be difficult, but the outcome so rewarding!

I work with students who feel stuck or stretched thin. Common themes include low mood or anxiety, perfectionism and procrastination, imposter feelings, and big transitions. My style is focused and time-limited. We set clear goals, build simple routines, and track progress between sessions. I use mindfulness, behavioral tools, and values work to help you decide what matters and act on it. Sessions are structured and practical: we translate insight into small, repeatable steps for school, relationships, and health. You can expect exercises to try between sessions and a concrete plan for each week. Good fit if you want a collaborative, evidence-informed approach, you are ready to practice skills, and you prefer clear feedback over jargon. Not a fit if you seek open-ended therapy without clear goals.
