Sometimes, everyone feels held hostage by their racing thoughts, intrusive memories, impulsive behaviors, low mood or existential dread. Sound familiar? I help clients looking to overcome these challenges so you can be the best version of yourself. I have over 10 years of experience in the field and primarily work with clients healing from trauma, including complex and developmental trauma. I also enjoy helping clients overcome people-pleasing tendencies, substance dependencies, anxiety and low-self worth.

We believe this is necessary to begin to awaken to your full potential and live more fully in each moment. I'm excited you're here! Therapeutic relationships can be an incredibly powerful resource for accessing your truth, increasing self-love, and healing through connection. My aim as a therapist is to foster a safe, nonjudgmental space that supports clients in divesting from narratives of self-pathology, rewriting their stories in empowering ways, and in feeling more grounded and more joyful in their daily lives. My practice is rooted in a social justice frame and a belief that symptoms are most often related to the trauma of lived experiences of oppression and discrimination, not due to internal failing. I work with clients who need help managing anxiety, exploring identity, managing life transitions, managing symptoms of trauma, and undoing internalized white supremacy. I offer a politicized lens and believe in the connection between relational healing and collective liberation. I intend for therapy to be an affirming, healing and celebratory space. For those pursuing gender affirming surgeries or HRT, I'm happy to provide letters for your insurance/surgeon. I identify as White, queer, trans, nonbinary, fat, and neurodiverse (ADHD). As of August 2025, I have availability for virtual clients. Please feel free to reach out - I’d love to chat about potentially working together!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. After ten years of experience in the field, I decided to open New Beginnings Therapeutic Services. My vision was to create a client-centered practice, that allows individuals to feel safe and comfortable from the second they step through the door. It is my goal to create a space for clients to share their most intimate thoughts and feelings, and for those thoughts to be received without judgment. We all make mistakes and struggle, but everyday is a New Beginning and a chance to create positive change in our lives. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other treatment modalities I assist client's in learning the tools they need to create lasting change in their lives. I know that sometimes finding a therapist can be challenging and anxiety provoking. Strong therapeutic rapport is the foundation for effective therapy, therefore I offer free consultations to aid in the decision making process. Call or e-mail me today and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

I founded my practice to create a space for people to feel heard, seen, and to create positive change in their lives. I want mental health care to feel welcoming, accessible, and like a safe holding space to sort it all out. I truly believe we are all out here doing our best, and that every person deserves an opportunity to heal and grow from adversity. We are all flawed works in progress, and that’s perfectly okay. I have had the opportunity to live this; and know what it’s like to be in the other seat. I’m so grateful for the healers in my life (shout out to Rary and Rena!), and find great purpose and privilege in being able to do that for others. I guide clients by fostering space for exploration and curiosity while also integrating actionable practical tools. I specialize in helping people process their trauma, get relief from anxiety and depression, understand and set boundaries, and improve relationship functioning. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, strengths-based, and empathic. I am trained in evidenced based interventions that offer highly effective relief. Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) offers Trauma/PTSD treatment in 7-12 sessions. The Gottman Method is an extensively researched backed methodology for treating couples. My goal is to deepen the understanding between couples and provide blueprints for success to handle conflicts. Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) is a treatment modality for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. Please don't hesitate to reach out for a free 15 minute consultation.
Hannah is an LCSW and specializes in trauma and ADHD. She is able to provide independent ADHD diagnostic evaluations and ongoing therapy.

Whether you’re struggling with feeling overwhelmed and anxious, or whether you’re needing a space to explore your inner world, I recognize that taking the step toward change is a brave one—and I’m so glad you’re here. I specialize in therapy for childfree individuals, highly sensitive people, LGBTQ+ folx and their families, women recovering from narcissistic abuse, people who are no or low contact with family, and equestrians. My style is warm, collaborative, and direct. In my work, I operate from the perspective that we are all doing the best that we can, and that we all want to live our lives with contentment and joy—but that the path in getting there is often difficult and full of unexpected surprises.

Abby works with her clients to help them to access their strengths and develop approaches that are centered on their personal objectives. Through this approach, the client is able to build their “toolbox” by gaining “tools”, or skills, to help them move forward with the healthy life they desire.

Something feels off, and you can't quite name it. You're doing everything you were supposed to do, but the life you're living doesn't feel fully like yours. You look around and it seems like everyone else found their footing, their person, their purpose. And quietly, you've started to wonder: Why not me? What am I missing? The gap between where you are and where you thought you'd be by now can feel like failure, even when, logically, you know it isn't. You're measuring yourself against a timeline you didn't write, comparing your insides to everyone else's outsides, and coming up short every time. The loneliness isn't just about being single or not having the career you wanted. It's the disconnection from yourself, from knowing who you are and what you actually want, separate from what you were always told to want. You don't need to have it all figured out. But you do deserve to feel at home in your own life, curious about where you're going rather than ashamed of where you are. You deserve to trust yourself again. I work with women who are navigating that in-between, exploring who they are, longing for real connection, and untangling the anxiety that comes with feeling behind. Together, we'll loosen the grip of comparison, get clear on what you actually value, and help you build a life that feels genuinely yours, not a performance of what it was supposed to look like. I offer online therapy in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. If this sounds like you, please reach out to schedule a free 15 minute consultation!
An LGBTQIA+ affirming, BIPOC-centered, therapy practice offering trauma-informed, culturally aware, decolonized and secular mental health care. We create a healing space where all identities are respected, and clients are supported in their growth, resilience, and liberation!
If you’re looking to have the space to explore issues and experiences that have impacted your life, I may be a good fit for you! I work with individuals struggling to navigate mood disorders, anxiety, history of trauma, and interpersonal distress. Additionally, as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I have first-hand experience with the challenges and fears that come with developing, growing, and accepting your identity. I believe healing can happen through processing your experiences and receiving empathy, support, and honest feedback. My approach to therapy includes using skills from CBT, DBT, and CPT to help understand and change thoughts and behaviors. Together we will work to create a deeper understanding of unhelpful patterns that may be present in your life. I will aim to gently push you out of your comfort zone in order to avoid repeating these patterns. Finding the right therapist for you can be difficult and take time. If you think I may be able to help, please reach out to me to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation. During that call we can address your questions, goals, and our compatibility. If we determine we are a good fit together, I’d be happy to schedule an appointment!
