I provide empathetic, personalized support to college students who are working to adjust to a college environment, managing new and difficult social situations, or working on themselves and discovering their identity now that they are away from home. My approach tends to be more casual and less clinical. I'm excited to help students explore any new and challenging areas they are facing in college.

Humor is something I like to incorporate into therapy; however, we can be serious about your concerns too. People of all ages struggle with human suffering and sometimes you need someone to walk with you through that, whether it be something you wish to change or something that you cannot. I aim to help my clients make meaning in life while also identifying the connections between our individual concerns and larger systems in life. I provide individual therapy for a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, identity exploration, and trauma, with specialized experience supporting people through grief, traumatic loss, and substance use concerns. My clients have expressed appreciation for my ability to sit with them in their suffering, when they have felt most alone. I have multiple years of experience previously working in college counseling centers. During these experiences, I supported students from a variety of backgrounds and found a lot of joy in helping students at a unique intersection in their lives. I have been lucky to work with a diverse student population and have supported many queer and trans students in exploring their gender and sexual identities while also addressing other mental health concerns. In addition, I was able to support BIPOC students as they addressed systemic issues within the university, while also exploring their individual racial identities. I further co-facilitated a family-trauma group during my time at a university counseling center. Thus, I find that I greatly appreciate being able to sit with students who are addressing these concerns. I am a Psychologist Resident in OR. I have my doctorate and five years of experience providing therapy, however, to become licensed in OR I must complete a supervised residency. I am supervised by Dr. Carrie McMullin (OR 2963). Online sessions are available. Details can be found at https://ginnyestupinian.com/appointments/ In-person office sessions are now also available for those who would rather come into my office. Board-certified in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. I specialize in treating college students who are dealing with severe anxiety, depression, stress, and complex trauma. Over the years, I have worked with many college students who have found themselves feeling anxious and depressed to the point that they can't continue with school. Many students report going down the same rabbit hole; as the demands of college increase, they become strapped for time and start to neglect their usual self-care routines—eating healthy, exercising, and relaxing. Not surprisingly, their mood becomes poor. Sadly, ignoring these early changes will cause things to get worse. Students then reported no longer enjoying activities that were usually the highlight of their day, feeling exhausted continuously but unable to get a good night’s sleep. Next, their class performance suffers; they sometimes miss classes because they can’t get out of bed. In some cases, students find themselves in a dark place, barely eating, and unable to concentrate enough to read even a short paragraph in their books. It is not uncommon that thoughts begin to circle the same unpleasant memories and nagging fears, resulting in a sense of hopelessness and guilt. The good news is that, In many cases, I have been able to help those individuals feel better and develop the resilience strategies they needed so they could continue with school and graduate successfully. When we work together, you can be assured that you will never be judged; everything we discuss will be confidential. You will be provided with the most advanced techniques appropriate to your needs, and they will help you feel better about obtaining the goals you want to reach. No situation is too small or too large that I can't help you with. Call today for more information. 844-802-6512

I'm a psychiatric nurse practitioner, and I don't take myself too seriously. The work? Absolutely. But I've found that people open up more when the clinic doesn't feel like a courtroom. I see patients of al ages dealing with ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, hormone issues, and weight. If you're dragging through your days, can't focus, can't sleep, or just feel like something's been off for a while, that's exactly the stuff I work with. I'm direct. I'll tell you what I'm seeing and what I think we should do about it. But I'm also not here to lecture you or make you feel like a case study. You're a person, not a diagnosis. I want to know what's actually going on in your life, not just what boxes you check on an intake form. Also, I'm told I'm funny. Results may vary.
