Hello, I am so glad you have found your way here. I am Mandi Glaser, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in Art Therapy. My goal is to support you in creating the life you want for yourself. I work with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-identity, stress management, trauma recovery, negative thinking, ADHD, or Autism.
Managing OCD, anxiety, and/or depression on top of the demands of work, school, social responsibilities, family responsibilities, or even leisure time is exhausting. It takes so much time and energy to deal with anxiety and takes you away from the things you care about. You deserve to feel better and do more than just try to get through your day. I strive to create a safe and comfortable environment and work collaboratively with you in an empathic manner using evidence-based treatment, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (or exposure and response prevention for OCD). Finding a therapist who fits what you are looking for can be a challenging experience. I admire your bravery in taking this first step. If you have questions about my practice, background, or approach we can set up a call to discuss if it would be a good fit.
My name is Nicole and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). I aim to offer a warm, supportive, and trauma-informed space for individuals who want to explore and process difficult experiences that have made it challenging to move forward. Many clients come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, confused, and unsure of how to make sense of it all. My goal is to create a safe space for understanding, healing, and growth and to support you in this journey to recovery.
Hi! Welcome and thank you for starting your journey. I am an empathetic, compassionate and thoughtful therapist. I seek to establish a warm and caring relationship with clients in order to empower them and help them grow from the experiences they face. I love working with young adults (ages 20-35) addressing life stressors, relationship issues, family tensions and the ongoing stress of life transitions during this time period of life.
It can be difficult to engage in therapy, so I commend you for taking the first steps in seeking perform! I value having a safe therapeutic space, and I want you to feel validated and supported in our work together. I use compassion and empathy while also providing targeted interventions to help address concerns to ultimately get you to where you want to be in life. I see our work as collaborative, and we'll work together to help you meet your goals. I'll be here for you every step of the way!
Having three children in their 20s who've experienced college and graduate school, and having been a university first year advisor for six years, I'm interested in helping students manage their transition to college, academic pressures, relationships, and the anxiety or depression that sometimes overwhelm us at this stage in life.
I see College and Graduate students at all year levels. I work with individuals and couples ( married and unmarried, who are dissatisfied with or want to improve their partnerships). Even the best parts of your academic career -- having more control over your own life, living with new people, getting to know a new city, forming new relationships, coming out to yourself or others, learning and pursuing what interests and inspires you -- can create stress. Relating to your family may be complicated, particularly if there have been difficulties at home. Loss, divorce, illness, abuse or substance abuse may factor into your story. You may be the first person in your family to go to college or beyond. You may have a chronic medical condition, visible or invisible to others. Figuring out who you want to be and what you have to work with may be unnecessarily burdensome to do all by yourself. When you hit a bump in the road, psychotherapy can help you problem solve, understand yourself better and come up with new strategies to move forward. Getting to know yourself better can be an important part of your education. Getting a handle on anxiety and/or depression can be crucial to making life work for you. Individual or couple psychotherapy can sychotherapy, free up energy to pursue life goals and improve relationships. I have worked with college and graduate students, as individuals and in couples, for over 25 years both in a University Counseling Center and in my private practice. I also have trained other professionals to work with students Please see my website or Psychology today profile for more information about my practice with couples and individual adults. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/therapists/roberta-caplan-waltham-ma/113684 I offer a free telephone screening to see if working with me might meet your current needs. I accept BC/BS PPO plans (not HMO) and can provide documentation you would need for out-of-network benefits for other plans.

Sometimes we find ourselves feeling stuck, unhappy, or confused. We may be aware of a sense of unease, as if something is not quite right. Therapy can provide clarity and tools to help you navigate difficult emotions. It’s important to know that we can learn to think and feel differently. I provide a safe space where clients feel seen, heard, and truly validated. I believe in the gentle balance of being both compassionate and direct to help facilitate growth and healing. Through encouragement, compassion and insight, my goal is to help you develop a deeper sense of joy and greater agency over your life. My background includes helping individuals who find themselves in challenging situations arising from depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, and addiction. I have formal training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and am also a Tobacco Treatment Specialist. I incorporate modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness into my treatment so that I can help clients make the most of their therapy and reach their full potential.

If you’re trying to navigate stress, identity, relationships, or just the pressure of figuring life out, you don’t have to do it alone. I have nearly 15 years of experience working specifically with young adults, and I aim to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or just unsure of what you need, we can take the time to sort through it together. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine curiosity about you. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, respected, and understood, so I prioritize building a relationship where you can speak openly. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and deeply committed to creating a space that is welcoming and inclusive of BIPOC clients. Your identities, experiences, and cultural context matter. If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you with openness, respect, and care, I’d be glad to connect.
Hello! I am currently accepting new patients. All visits are through telemedicine, so I can see anyone in the state of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Colorado. My love for what I do in psychiatry, comes from the joy I get in helping others improve their lives. Most of my patients do not know which direction to go when then come to me, and that is ok. Some people come to me looking for second or third opinions about diagnosis or medications, some people are referred by a therapist to start medication. We can openly discuss decisions and options. This is a judgement free zone. There is no way you can TMI me! My primary role in our sessions is diagnosis, evaluation and medication management. The role I have in therapy is very small. Most clients are already in therapy or have been referred by therapists to me. All sessions are conducted by tele-medicine. **Offering flexible hours, evening appointments available, also some weekends. **
Elemental Health is a modern behavioral health practice offering thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care and therapy for individuals across Massachusetts. Our clinicians provide personalized treatment grounded in clinical expertise, collaboration, and compassionate care tailored to meet each individual's needs.
Great to meet you! In my work as a therapist, I have had the privilege of working with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating a wide range of mental health challenges. My approach is grounded in building therapeutic relationships based in affirming care and empathy. I strive to create a warm, relatable environment that allows people to be grow, laugh, cry (sometimes), and feel safe to peel back their own layers and explore themselves. A bit about my approach to therapy: When providing therapy services, I always take a relational approach with the folks I am serving. I think it is important that people feel comfortable, heard, and like they are talking to another person as opposed to a robot. What you can expect from our first session: During our first session, we will talk about what has brought you to therapy, what previous mental health treatment you have had if any, and what you hope therapy can do for you.
You may be doing well on paper while quietly feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of yourself. I work especially well with college and graduate students navigating anxiety, identity questions, relationship concerns, grief, trauma, academic pressure, major life transitions, or the exhaustion of trying to meet everyone else’s expectations. My practice is welcoming to LGBTQIA+ students, veterans, adult learners, and others who have felt pressure to hide, shrink, or edit parts of themselves to belong. Therapy with me is warm, honest, and collaborative. Together, we can make sense of the patterns that have helped you survive, strengthen your ability to handle difficult emotions, and help you build a life guided by greater self-trust, choice, and authenticity.
Inevitably, life presents difficulties, and can be challenging for many different reasons. Sometimes the things that bring people to therapy are very specific: perhaps a major life transition has become overwhelming, or certain patterns within a relationship are starting to take a toll. Pressures in some particular setting, whether it is at school, at work, or at home, may be feeling too difficult to navigate alone. Other times, people come to therapy a little less certain, feeling confused and unsure about where their life is headed, wanting something more. It’s not always easy to answer the question, “What brings you here?” People tend to doubt their inner strengths, and don’t quite realize how many resources they in fact possess. I have found that, though conversation with a trusted person, people can more easily identify and then build on those strengths. In my work with children, we often talk about expanding their “toolbox,” so that they have the skills to better manage overwhelming emotions and navigate complicated social situations. With teenagers and young adults, we often find ourselves talking about questions of identity development - the process of learning about who we are, how we got there, and what we want for ourselves moving forward. I see growth and development as a lifetime process, and, in my work with adults, we address all these issues in increasingly varied and complex ways, while also working together to navigate complex challenges presented by a world that can be arbitrary and unfair. My past experiences, doing individual and family therapy with people of all ages, of diverse backgrounds, and difficult, sometimes traumatic histories and life circumstances, have engendered within me a core belief that with the right support and collaboration, it is possible to make meaningful and long-lasting changes.
I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to process memories, thoughts and feelings. There are long, lost fears and often past traumas at play in all of us. Some surface, wreaking havoc with our lives. They can appear as grief, depression, anxiety or crisis. Others remain dormant and can surface at all the wrong times. You may appear successful, but despite your accomplishments, you are not happy or it seems like others are happier than you. Your personal relationships are not satisfying in the way you expect. Why is happiness still elusive? We can dislodge what is blocking your best life and guide you to a healthier self. We will guide you to new understandings, new behaviors and new ways of being that will lead you to a happier self. You can reduce the anxiety and depression. You can disarm the trauma and grief that has made the days so uncomfortable. I provide a safe, empathetic environment for change. Call to book an appointment or consultation.
Life requires constant adjustment. For many of us, this makes life more challenging. Do you struggle with life adjustments, mood disorders, or anxiety? If so, I am here to help. As your therapist, I will give you a judgment-free environment where I will help you combat your negative thoughts and find a positive way to move in whatever direction life brings. I will empathetically challenge you to come out of your comfort zone and see the world from a new perspective. I will give you the tools to heal, transform, identify, and utilize your strengths to address everyday challenges. Equally, I will provide you with time to make those adjustments, as we all know there can be setbacks along the way, but that doesn’t have to stop us. Together, we will build a stronger community. One of my goals for you is that as I help you become a better version of yourself, you will be equipped to help those around you–creating a ripple effect of world-changing power. Although the road to wellness is not linear, there is hope, and change is possible. Depression and anxiety, worry, stress, and feeling overwhelmed- these are all familiar concerns and normal in the human experience. We've all experienced it. Sometimes they can be difficult to manage and that's when talk therapy can be incredibly useful. But most important: I'm glad you're here. Let's build a collaborative therapeutic relationship. Life is hard. Although I am not a specialist in Life itself, there are ways to balance and recalibrate ourselves with therapy tools. These tools have helped me and others I've served in the past. As an Asian American, LGBTQ+ identifying therapist, my experience may offer a unique perspective that helps you feel connected and heard. I offer a straightforward style with authenticity and real connection. Although this may be intimidating for clients who are new to therapy, it is a bridge that when crossed clients find satisfying and rewarding. The first step to reaching out and connecting is by call or email, and I look forward to hearing from you.
