Joe specializes in supporting students and young adults navigating the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Joe completed clinical training at Harvard University Counseling & Mental Health Services, where he worked with students from diverse backgrounds, including those marginalized by gender, race, and sexuality, and those recovering from traumatic experiences. Joe’s therapeutic approach is rooted in psychodynamic theory, helping clients uncover unconscious thoughts, emotions, and behaviors by exploring how past experiences influence their current lives. This process allows clients to identify patterns and work toward meaningful, positive change. The state of our world can be so heartbreaking that we feel immobilized at times. Much of our potential is blocked by feeling overwhelmed by the day to day challenge of struggling to advocate for ourselves in our communities, the world, even in our own thoughts and beliefs!
