To be honest, “telling your story” or expressing your thoughts and feelings was not always a great experience, was it? Maybe your words (and pain) seemed to fall on deaf ears or somehow become twisted and misconstrued—sometimes used against you. You spoke, which was good, but you were not heard… and that hurts. So you silenced yourself—“maybe I should keep quiet...nobody understands”. Well, as a woman of God (who was once silenced herself), I’ve developed a very heavy conviction to be a listening ear for others who not only wish to speak, but also desire to be HEARD. That, plus understanding, is the beginning of healing and freedom. I enjoy helping individuals, couples and families through past and current challenges using faith-integrated techniques and theoretical approaches. My therapeutic style is purposed to provide you with a safe space to identify and express how your thoughts/beliefs are impacting your emotions and behavior; and thus, your life and relationships with loved ones.

Initiating the process of therapy can understandably feel overwhelming, that’s why I strive to provide a supportive, non-judgmental, and confidential space for clients to explore difficult parts of their lives. I specialize in working with young adult issues, identity development, life transition, and first-generation students. Separating from your family, navigating new relationships, and discovering your path and interests are some of the unique challenges in this period of life. I have over four years of experience working in university counseling centers providing individual and group therapy to students, staff, and faculty. Through a safe and collaborative therapeutic alliance, we can work toward bringing relief to your immediate distress while also fostering a deeper understanding of yourself and others. I'm interested in helping you access your innate wisdom and healing potential. I’m curious and sensitive to cultural differences and the unique factors that have shaped your life. Together we can develop and uncover parts of yourself that can lead to living a richer, more creative life.

Human sexuality is an endless source of self-knowledge through which we tap into our subconsciousness. In most people it is suppressed and hidden from our conscious minds due to the rigid cultural and religious belief systems along with our personal beliefs. Learning about ourselves through our sexual expressions will help some of us obtain wisdom and knowledge about who we are. Most of non-sexual issues stem from unhealthy self-perceptions, specifically from denying our own sexuality and freedom to express ourselves sexually. Ability to fully realize ourselves comes from expanding our consciousness through exploring our sexuality and sensuality.

My therapeutic approach deals with stories, and I am interested in including modern ways of storytelling into the work we do through digital media, technology, and even video games. I believe that stories are created through a variety of mediums that include art, play, and experience. I encourage the people I work with to explore all of the ways they have to come to know the world around them to make our time together even more fun, engaging, and relevant to you. In my practice, my goal is to collaborate with my clients in better understanding how they’ve storied their lives, challenging dominant narratives and systems of oppression, and exploring more preferred ways of being. The theories that inform my work include: narrative therapy, collaborative therapy, solution-focused therapy, play therapy, motivational interviewing, and strength-based therapy. Someone who might be interested in working with me is open and willing to explore the different ways that therapy can "be"! I invite collaboration and exploration in the work we do together, so feel free to bring the passions that drive you along with the obstacles you are facing into the room. Music, art, games, movies, even the people in your life are all resources to bring to therapy that can help to better understand the person you want to be and the story you want to tell. My experience as a queer, 1st generation Filipino-American is what inspires me to support others in their identity development. Navigating the endless messages and oppressive narratives that make up the modern, cultural milieu can be overwhelming and limiting. My hope is to create a non-judgmental space where the people I work with can challenge these dominant social narratives that attempt to tell them who they are or who they should be and begin crafting their own unique, preferred sense of self. I believe in challenging the notion that therapy is apolitical. I believe that the work that we do in attempt to better ourselves as individuals undoubtedly impacts and is impacted by those arounds us whether it's friends, loved ones, neighbors, or strangers across the globe. This is why I use social justice framework in my practice as I hope to promote total wellbeing not just for the client but for the larger communities and systems we are a part of.

As a queer-identifying clinician, I bring a compassionate, affirming, and inclusive approach to therapy, honoring the diverse identities and lived experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community and beyond. I am deeply committed to building genuine rapport and trust, creating a therapeutic space where clients feel fully seen, supported, and valued in their authentic selves. My practice is grounded in LGBTQ+ and neurodiversity-affirming principles, informed by my B.A. in Women’s Studies and its emphasis on social justice, intersectionality, and feminist frameworks. My graduate training in Depth Psychology has enriched my understanding of the unconscious forces that shape our inner and relational worlds. From a psychodynamic perspective, I work collaboratively with clients to explore the patterns, motivations, and early trauma that influences their emotional lives and relationships. In addition to psychodynamic work, I integrate Family Systems theory and Internal Family Systems (IFS) modalities, approaches that support clients in navigating internal conflicts and relational dynamics with clarity, compassion, and self-leadership. My skills in attunement, active listening, and culturally competent, curious counseling allow me to adapt to each client’s unique needs and strengths. Whether you are seeking support for LGBTQ+ and/or neurodivergent identity exploration, relationship concerns, trauma healing, or personal growth, I strive to offer a therapeutic relationship rooted in empathy, curiosity, and collaboration; one that fosters healing, resilience, and empowerment. If you’re curious about working together, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. It’s a chance for us to connect and see if we’re a good fit.

Hi! I’m Nadine! My mission is to help you course-correct to a life you feel comfortable with. We are going to research what lights you up, what feels wrong or miserable, and why this is going on for you right now. Then we will create small steps you can take towards feeling better. This hopelessness won’t last forever. And you will feel confident and competent again. You are in the middle, and the middle is always shitty and confusing, and disorienting. Together we can find where you are getting stuck. We can work on ways to help you get grounded and remember who you are. I will help you stretch and strengthen your ability to feel and navigate the big emotions that arise while narrating your story of trauma.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I serve clients across California through secure and convenient telehealth visits bringing personalized care to you, wherever you are. My goal is to make psychiatric care feel accessible, judgment-free, and genuinely supportive. I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. My approach is integrative — combining medication management with education, mindfulness, and supportive therapy. I take time to understand the whole picture using a bio-psycho-social lens: looking at how biological factors (like vitamin deficiencies or hormonal imbalances), psychological stressors (like trauma or burnout), and social dynamics (like school or work pressure) all impact mental health. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I spent several years as a registered nurse, and I’ve worked extensively in both inpatient psychiatry and as a clinical consultant. My training and experience allow me to treat each person as a whole not as a list of symptoms, and to create care plans that are practical, empowering, and tailored to you. Outside of work, I love traveling and spending time with my son and family. These connections remind me of the importance of balance, joy, and meaningful relationships — values I bring into my work every day. Here, you're not just receiving treatment — you're being seen, heard, and supported as a whole person. My mission is to help you move from just surviving to truly thriving.

College can feel like a never-ending marathon of stress, anxiety, self-doubt and no one hands you an instruction manual on how to cope. I’m Ashley, a therapist who specializes in helping students overcome academic burnout, social anxiety, imposter syndrome, and the constant pressure to “have it all together.” If your brain is always racing, your motivation has disappeared, or you’re tired of pretending you’re fine when you’re absolutely not, you’re exactly who I help every day. My sessions are a safe space to be honest, process what’s weighing you down, and learn real strategies to manage your mental health and feel more like yourself. Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating or boring, it can be empowering, validating, and even a little bit fun. Reach out today, so you can start feeling less stressed and more in control. My approach: It’s all about meeting you where you’re at and helping you find some breathing room in the chaos. We’re not here to fix everything overnight, but to give you the tools to navigate life with more ease, more control, and more clarity. We’ll dive into the tough stuff whether it’s ADHD, trauma, anxiety, relationships, intimacy, or addiction and work through it together, at your pace. My goal is to help you connect with yourself, your emotions, and your relationships in a way that’s empowering, freeing, and totally real. No judgment. Just you, your process, and a plan to get you to where you want to be. I’m here to help you sort through the noise and rediscover the parts of you that bring you peace and fulfillment. Expect practical tools and strategies that actually work in the real world, not just in theory. You’ll learn how to manage overwhelm, reconnect with yourself, and feel more in control of your thoughts, emotions, and life overall. But here’s the thing it's not just about checking off a to-do list. It’s about growth, healing, and building a stronger connection with who you are. I bring years of experience working with neurodivergent individuals, people dealing with trauma, and those navigating complex relationship dynamics. I’m here to help you uncover your strengths, break through the blocks holding you back, and get to a place where you can live with more peace and fulfillment. Together, we’ll work on a plan that’s unique to you because you deserve an approach that honors your journey and your individuality. Reach out today on my website for an initial 15 minuet phone consultation.
