Daniel Reed, Psy.D.
Hello and Welcome! My name is Daniel Reed and I am a first-generation college graduate and clinical psychologist. I take an integrative, holistic approach to therapy, blending cognitive-behavioral, relational, and psychodynamic methods to fit your unique background and goals. Together, we’ll explore how your daily life is shaped by your cognitive, emotional, and relational patterns, while honoring your intersectional identity and lived experiences. I specialize in supporting university students and young adults navigating identity formation, LGBTQ+ experiences, trauma, neurodiversity, interpersonal concerns, anxiety, and depression. Progress starts with a great fit. As an active and collaborative therapist, I don’t just passively listen—I engage with you in real time, offering feedback, observations, and insights to help you build self-awareness and create meaningful change. Licensed Psychologist in CA & IL. *Please note: I am unable to see actively enrolled Santa Clara University students for therapy services due to a conflict of interest, as I also work at Santa Clara University's Counseling and Psychological Services. I am however, able to provide therapy services for former SCU students and alumni.
Embark Therapy
I'm Will Michelson, a licensed therapist (LMFT) practicing in West Los Angeles and online across California. My work is depth oriented psychotherapy, which means we don't stop at managing symptoms. We work to understand what drives them, so the change you make actually holds. College and the years around it ask a lot. Anxiety that won't settle, a low mood that flattens everything, grief, loneliness, questions about identity, direction, and who you are becoming. These are not failures of character. Often they are signals pointing toward something that needs attention, and therapy is where you learn to listen. Sessions are 45 minutes, usually weekly, in person at my West LA office near the Sawtelle and Brentwood border or by secure video from anywhere in California. That flexibility suits student life. Many clients meet online during the term and continue without interruption through breaks, moves, and summers. I bring over a decade of clinical experience, drawing on psychodynamic and relational depth work. I also trained theologically at Fuller Seminary, so if faith or spiritual questions are part of your life, there is room for them here, belief and doubt alike. You do not need to be religious to work with me. The first step is a free 15 minute consultation. It is a conversation, not a commitment.
Core Therapy
Core Therapy was founded in 2020 with a simple belief: quality mental health care should be accessible, compassionate, and designed to meet people where they are. What began as a virtual response to a growing need for mental health support has evolved into a diverse team of compassionate clinicians serving individuals, couples, families, and children throughout California. Our practice is rooted in client-centered, culturally responsive care. We recognize that every person comes to therapy with different experiences, identities, challenges, and goals. Our clinicians work to create a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. As a fully virtual practice, we aim to make connecting with the right therapist easier and more convenient—bringing quality care directly to you, wherever you feel most comfortable. At Core Therapy, our goal goes beyond providing therapy. We strive to reduce barriers, challenge the stigma surrounding mental health, and make therapy feel more human, approachable, and connected.
Lauryn Woodruff
I'm Lauryn (she/her), a Registered Dietitian who helps people with prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, PCOS, disordered eating, and body image concerns, especially when those overlap. My clients aren't looking for another diet. They want support, knowledge, and a flexible plan that fits real life. I work from a weight-inclusive, intuitive eating, Health at Every Size (HAES) lens, shaped by my background in eating disorder care at the PHP/IOP and outpatient levels. Many of the people I work with are women of color, queer folks, and people in larger bodies who have spent years feeling judged or dismissed in medical spaces. Here you'll find no judgment: we'll improve your labs, energy, and blood sugar while you heal your relationship with food, keeping your culture, preferences, and values at the center. Ready to start? Cecilia Cruz
Hello! I'm Cecilia Cruz, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) who helps people manage prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, heart health, and women's health while keeping the cultural foods they love on the table. I offer sessions in English and Spanish. My approach is rooted in the belief that food is medicine. I don't label foods as "good" or "bad," because those labels lead to shame and guilt. Jessica Stamm
Have you ever felt like managing your health is a full-time job—especially when you’re juggling a million other things? Between conflicting nutrition advice, ever-changing health goals, and just getting dinner on the table, it’s a lot. I get it—because I’ve been there too. I’m Jessica, a Registered Dietitian, mom of two, and someone who’s been offering nutrition counseling since 2007. My interest in nutrition started in high school when I struggled with binge eating, diet culture, and a difficult relationship with my body. Over the years, my personal experiences—living with ADHD, navigating thyroid and autoimmune conditions, and managing preeclampsia and high blood sugar during pregnancy—have only deepened my empathy and shaped the way I support others. I specialize in helping people simplify food—whether that’s meal planning, grocery shopping, or creating sustainable routines that support your health without taking over your life. I’ve worked across private practice, public health, behavioral health, fitness resorts, and food service programs—but what I love most is working one-on-one with clients to find practical, personalized strategies that actually stick. These days, I work with people managing conditions like prediabetes, PCOS, gestational diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol—especially those who feel overwhelmed by diet trends or unsure how to start. I offer neurodivergent-affirming care and have a special passion for supporting fellow ADHDers in developing realistic nutrition routines that meet them where they are. If you’re looking for an approach grounded in intuitive eating, weight-inclusive care, and compassion, you’re in the right place. I believe food should be a source of nourishment—not stress—and that everyone deserves to feel good in their body without chasing unrealistic ideals. With a focus on intuitive eating, my goal is to help clients build peace with food and their bodies, steering them away from the frustrations of yo-yo dieting and food-related mental struggles. I’m committed to guiding clients toward healthier, sustainable habits that allow them to enjoy food and meet their health goals. More about me: I love spending time with family and exploring new things that give a fun, dopamine-kick; be it starting a garden, playing a new sport, painting, thrifting, etc. When I’m not working, I’m chasing my two high-energy kids, experimenting in the kitchen or reading fantasy books on my kindle! What to expect: Sessions are collaborative, judgment-free, and tailored to your real life. You’ll leave with a plan that feels doable—even on the busiest days. Ready to start? Book a visit directly at https://diabetesdigital.co/start.
Flourish: Individual Couple and Family Therapy
Flourish works best with students and young adults who may look like they’re doing well on the outside but feel stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck underneath it all. Many clients are navigating relationships, family expectations, identity, self-worth, academic or career pressure, major life transitions, or simply trying to figure out what they want their life to look like. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Our goal is to provide a genuine and authentic space where we can make sense of what’s going on, identify patterns that may be getting in your way, and develop practical ways to move toward the relationships and life you want.
Matthew Jaurequi
I specialize in working with college students and emerging adults navigating relationships, anxiety, self-worth, family stress, and major life transitions. My clinical work is informed by my research and teaching on emerging adulthood, health, and relationships. In addition to being a licensed marriage and family therapist, I am a clinical supervisor and university professor in Child Development and Family Science, with particular expertise in romantic and family relationships.

Hi, I'm glad you're here. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change. I believe therapy should be tailored to your unique needs. My approach is warm, open-minded, and solution-focused, creating a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. Together, we'll build on your strengths, navigate challenges, and work toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to do it alone. Maybe you’ve been feeling unlike yourself lately. You might be dealing with anxiety, low mood, trouble focusing, poor sleep, or simply feeling overwhelmed and not sure where to start. College can bring its own set of challenges, from academic pressure and major life transitions to relationships, independence, and figuring out what comes next. Maybe you’ve tried to push through it on your own, but you know something needs to change. I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who works with adults and college students to better understand what’s going on and find a treatment approach that feels right for them. I take the time to look at the whole picture rather than focusing only on a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, women’s mental health, and PMDD. I want you to feel comfortable being honest about what you’re experiencing and involved in decisions about your care. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more like yourself again.

Change naturally produces anxiety. While a certain amount of anxiety is normal for all persons, those with excessive anxiety may find themselves experiencing constant worry, doubt, and self criticism. In addition, sometimes depression, substance abuse and various disorders may follow. However, anxiety IS manageable. Mind and body will need to work together to relieve the stress that starts your anxiety process. I help you manage these stressful times and difficult life transitions through various therapies suited your unique personality and particular needs. My therapeutic approach is nonjudgmental, supportive and practical. It is based on the latest successful therapies for anxiety and depression, yet tailored to your specific personality and situation. Together we will work through the sequential steps that have resulted in your distress and then follow with the processes that will bring you relief. With the Couples Counseling I do, I see my role as helping to develop healthy person-to-person emotional connections, without sacrificing individuality. Each person’s personality needs to be recognized and respected. In initial sessions, much of my focus begins with changing communication style and learning to negotiate conflict. To restore or develop trust and connection, I find that people need to first literally learn to talk to each other differently. This is not as easy as it may sound, but it is possible and it is the foundation of maintaining healthy relationships. Once respectful and caring communication is established, improved emotional connections become possible and problems can be resolved. In the addiction treatment I do, I work both with clients and their families and friends. In my 20+ years working with dual diagnosis and addictions, I have had the benefit of working in every level of care -- from substance abuse prevention to in-patient rehab treatment programs, PHP, IOP, and outpatient. One of my sincere beliefs is that there is no one way that works for everyone. Not everyone needs rehab and each situation deserves special consideration. In short, that means there are no "have to's", "must's", or "should's." I apply an approach with empathy and compassion for my clients, while bringing them the best type of care they need, and of course, never giving up.

You want to learn to be kinder to yourself, regulate your feelings, put yourself first without guilt, and heal from a past that’s holding you back. You are struggling to feel normal and feel confused about how you got to where you are. You can admit that sometimes you’re harder on yourself than you deserve. That’s where I come in! I help teens, adults, and relationship partners explore their experiences in order to improve their communication and strengthen their connections to themselves and their communities. I’m passionate about supporting my clients using systems theories, parts work, and EMDR to help them feel more capable of caring for themselves and move towards areas of pleasure in their lives. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, neurodivergence, confusion about life, sexual difficulties, relationship stress, or major life transitions, I’m ready to meet you where you’re at with warmth and care.
